Celebesrope, a brand under PT. Mandala Bangun Persada, was founded in Makassar, South Sulawesi, in October 2011. The company began its business in the telecommunications industry, serving as a contractor providing planning and construction services for telecommunications tower infrastructure.

In May 2017, PT. Mandala Bangun Persada (Celebesrope) was officially registered as a PJK3 (K3 Services Company) at the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia with the SKP number KEP.146/BINWASK3-PNK3/II/2017. By being officially registered as a PJK3, the company will become an increasingly superior organization in the business of work services and K3 training for Working at Heights.

In January 2025, PT. Mandala Bangun Persada changed its entity to PT. Celebes Kreatif Gemilang as a company managed by experienced professionals in their fields, with leaders and staff who have led the company to gain a reputation for fulfilling the service, quality, safety and time required by each of its clients.
